Kimberly M. Webb is a visual artist who works at the intersections of photography, sculpture, and social practice. Her work investigates ecology, cultural constructs, and absurdity. Her practice addresses ways in which we understand and interact with our environment and how those relationships shape our culture and health. She is passionate about the intersections of environment, wellness, and creativity.

In addition to her practice as a fine artist, she has been working as a photographer for over 20 years. Her love for environments has steered her into specializing in partnering with other creatives in interior design and architecture photography. She also loves capturing a good love story and has photographed over 50 weddings with a photojournalist and fine art style.

Webb earned her BFA from the Ohio State University and MFA from Columbus College of Art & Design. Webb is the former Manager of Fresh A.I.R. (Artists in Recovery) Gallery and Chop Chop Gallery, and Director of the Ohio Art League. She has supported the production of exhibitions and programming at the Wexner Center for the Arts, Columbus Museum of Art, Columbus College of Art & Design, and independently with the city of Columbus, Capital Crossroads Special Improvement Districts, and Central Ohio Transit Authority. Webb has taught camera obscura at the Wexner Center for the Arts; sculpture, social practice, and community art education at Columbus College of Art & Design; and nature-focused photography, alternative process photography, and curatorial studies with an emphasis on supporting artists’ mental health at Athens Photographic Project. She has received grants from the Greater Columbus Arts Council, CCAD, and the Ohio Arts Council. Webb has attended Mildred's Lane (Narrowsburg, NY) with a full fellowship from CCAD and Can Serrat Artist Residency (El Bruc, Spain), supported partly by Can Serrat and GCAC.

In 2024, Webb began working full-time as an artist and photographer.

Webb’s latest body of work and solo exhibition, “Compost/Cosmos (re-e)merging particles”, is an exploration on life, death, consciousness, and connection, made from her compost in collaboration with the cosmos. The work is comprised of unique cyanotype prints of her compost on natural fiber paper (some dyed with tea), adhered to pieces of local fallen trees. The mounted cyanotypes are exhibited as an installation alongside her sculptures made out of Reishi mushrooms, one composting her old works. 25% of sales were donated to organizations fighting for social and environmental justice.
